Our cottage for sale is facing the oustanding Eawy forest, covering the slopes and highlands which separate river Varenne valley from river Béthune valley. It’s one of the biggest beech forest of France. Just across the house, a hiking path will take you into the woods where you might easily see a deer, a doe or a fawn.

Saint-Saëns is built along the river Varenne and is famous for its 18 holes golf course. Driving West, Neufchâtel-en-Bray is just 12 km away. This town used to be the capital city of Pays-De-Bray and is still very lively with shops and a very popular market taking place every Saturday morning in the cheese market-place hall. Driving 9 km to the North, taking Dieppe’s road, you will reach a small town with all amenities called Les Grandes-Ventes.

Only 35 minutes from Rouen or Dieppe and from the beaches of Côte d’Albâtre, this house would be perfect as a secondary house for someone who’s looking for a peaceful place to retire of for holidays. Of course, it can also be your main home with easy access to Calais (a one hour and forty minutes-drive, to Paris (a two-hours-drive) or to Brussels (a three-hours-drive).
